I John Ford nascono nel 2005 dall’incontro di Mauro Freddi (ex bassista dei Candies), il chitarrista Vincenzo Morreale e il batterista Valerio Antonini. Pubblicano due ep "John Ford" nel 2006 e "All I Want" nel 2008.
La band si scioglie nel 2010. Nel 2015 Vincenzo Morreale e Mauro Freddi grazie alla preziosa collaborazione di Samuele Zarantonello (The Unsense) pubblicano il singolo "Unlucky Star".
